CNRM North America tour 1993: Constancio Pinto speech
In 1993, the Timorese resistance umbrella CNRM (National Council of Maubere Resistance) sponsored a tour of Canada and the United States by a group of young Timorese. The tour showed that a new generation of resistance, educated under Indonesian rule, was now fighting for their homeland in the diplomatic arena.
